Using biofuels like ethanol and biodiesel that are made in America will help reduce our dependence on imported oil and provide good jobs in farming communities where the fuels are produced. Biofuels also help to conserve our natural resources and protect the environment.

Every diesel engine, whether in vehicles or stationary equipment, can run on biodiesel.  Because biodiesel is produced from soybeans, peanuts and other vegetable oils, animal fats and recycled cooking oil, it protects diesel engines better than petroleum diesel.

Most ethanol in the USA is made from corn.  Gasoline engines can run on a blend of 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline (E-10).  But all the major auto manufacturers produce flex-fuel vehicles designed to run on a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline (E-85).

The Lake City bulk plant and retail station offers easy access to small and large vehicles. First Coast Biofuels delivers on-road and off-road biodiesel and ethanol fuels throughout Florida.
